Introduction
Hi there, welcome to my blog! My name is Mark Leo and I would like to personally welcome you and thank you for taking the time to visit my site. It's a blog as well as a place for me to share about how I see life through my camera. I am a photographer currently living in Malaysia and my passion is shooting portraiture and weddings. Having been living in Malaysia almost all of my life (with the exception of a couple of years in the UK), its diverse background of various races have definitely shown me how exciting weddings and people can be hence my passion when it comes to photographing people.
About 2 years ago, one fine day early 2007, I decided to purchase a Digital SLR with hopes to capture beautiful scenery and landscape. A small hobby started to become a passion and after a couple of workshops and shooting sessions, I learned that photography itself did interest me but the people aspect caught my attention. A good friend of mine then asked me to help him out by shooting his wedding in 2007 and after that experience, the rest is history. Many cameras and workshops later, I continue to shoot weddings mainly with other senior photographers out there in hopes to learn and improve.
My philosophy when it comes to learning is that it never stops. Because of that, I dedicate my time and resources in attending more workshops and trainings with hopes to constantly grow and challenge myself not to be too comfortable.
What do I do?
As much as I love photography, I was trained as an engineer and now turned IT consultant with Accenture, an American consulting firm. Aside from work, I enjoy music especially playing the guitar as well as hanging out with friends and just spending time with them.
